Kees Christiaanse at World Cities Summit, 4 July in Singapore

03 July 2012

Kees Christiaanse will co-lead, in his function as program leader of the Future Cities Laboratory (FCL), a forum at this year’s World Cities Summit in Singapore. The forum will be titled ’5 Propositions for Sustainable Future Cities’.

The rapid development of cities is one of the great issues of our time. How we plan, manage, maintain and live in future cities will have planetary consequences. There are no simple answers or easy recipes. The forum will showcase some of the research done at FCL into these issues.

The World Cities Summit runs from July 1-4 and has as topic 'Liveable and Sustainable Cities - Integrated Urban Solutions'.
